We always love creating an Oak Hill Farm Wedding Video. It’s such a spectacular venue. And it’s nestled in the hills of Apple River, IL. It’s a farm that has been in the family for a very long time. Over the years they have added and remodeled structures to the property. These include a chapel, a general store, and a three story barn. That barn doubles as a house and place for brides and grooms to get ready in. And then receptions are held in a permanent tent that features very authentic and amazing vintage decor. You will find things like carriages, barrels and wooden wagons. There is even an old school house complete with desks and traditional decor that people often utilize for their cocktail hour.
Oak Hill Farm is a photographer and videographers dream. On this day we had the opportunity to create a Wedding Film for Stephanie and Erik. Stephanie & Erik met while both working for the Chicago Cubs. Their relationship was forged over a few years. They even surviving a long distance stint. And in Stephanie’s Dads own words, while joking around during his Father of the Bride Speech; he said they “were wondering what would happen first, the Cubs winning the world series or Stephanie & Eric getting Engaged.’ Well, shortly after that the cubs had a Magical 2016 season, where they did infact win the World Series. Stephanie and Eric followed and did get engaged in Millennium Park with their parents looking on.
