Things got crazy this summer at the studio as our business really took off! This was of course a wonderful thing, we couldn’t be happier that our little studio in Middleton is becoming so busy.  But unfortunately somethings had to give, and our lil ol’ blog suffered…waiting for us to pay it some attention and post some of the lovely images we got to capture through the busy summer months. We now have a bit more time..okay so thats a lie, who are we kidding, we are still REALLY busy, but we are are going to somehow find the time to get things caught up so we can share some of the fabulous Wisconsin Weddings we got to photograph! And of course all of the portrait sessions too! AND we have a plan to keep up on all of this from here on out so that you can stay up to date on all the happenings at the studio.

So often couples ask us what are favorite venues are. Of course Madison has so many great ones, ones that are perfect for so many different reasons. But Quivey’s Grove is truly one of my favorite venues for both a ceremony and reception. I love that its so intimate, everything is right there and the very BEST part…. everything is outdoors. We LOVE outdoor weddings!!! Kim and Ben had such a great day this last July, from the personalized decor to their dog stopping by, everything about the day was really about the two of them! Kim and Ben chose to see one another prior to their ceremony to allot some extra time for pictures, this gave us plenty of time to cover the grounds at Quivey’s as well as venture to Ben’s firehouse to get some cool pictures with the trucks and fire fighter gear.
