Dear Menards shoppers, (& blog readers..because who am I kidding there are there are zero Menards shoppers from this evening coincidentally reading this blog post!)

I hope you enjoyed watching us shop tonight with our 3 children in tow for our trade show materials to build our new booth for next weekends wed plan show. Because 2+ hours at Menards with 3 kids and a big shopping list is….well crazy!  And this was all followed by last nights shenanigans spent at the UW emergency room until way too late, after our 4 year old decided to jump on his bed and have his eye brow meet his head board, which resulted in 5 stitches, and little sleep for this Mom and Dad! However, we still conquered as we always do. If you did spot us maybe somehow amongst the chaos of our little family shopping you saw what a great team D. and I are, as always! I hope all of you soon to be weds are lucky enough to have this in your marriages as well. For Derrick and I teamwork is so important in raising our kids, but also in running our studio. We have people tell us all the time how they could never work with their spouse, and I can’t imagine it any other way! We both have such important roles at Creative Look Studios to make it function as it does.

And so even though I am sleepy I am so excited to share some of these gorgeous shots we captured of Jenna and Michael’s wedding this summer. Jenna and Mike are adorable together, you can see how much they love each other. Not just in these photographs but from the moment we sat down with them at our studio in Middleton it was apparent. I adore downtown Madison weddings, well because I adore Madison, WI. And Grace Episcopal church on the square is a great ceremony location for a downtown, I want my guests to experience the farmers market and eat Wisconsin cheese curds..kind of wedding. Jenna and Mike’s reception was at The Legend at Bergamont in Oregon, again one of my fav location spots!  Located in Oregon, WI it’s really quite an impressive space with some great natural spots for photography!

I hope you all stay warm…we are hoping to make it into the studio in the next few days to put our Menards purchases to use and get our booth made! We can’t wait to meet some great couples at the show next weekend!!!
