Our unannounced, and really unplanned, blog–cation is over (that’s a vacation from the blog).  We’ve been just totally slammed with editing, designing, and trying to get everyone’s orders created in time for all of the Holiday deadlines that are quickly approaching.  It’s been a lot of long days and nights.  With all of the extra work, we had to dedicate all of our “in front of the computer” time to just that and unfortunately our blog has paid the price of neglect.  We have a lot of great stuff we want to share and will try our best to avoid any unplanned trips away from it again in the near future.  Thanks for being patient!

Hattie & Rob will be getting married in what is for sure to be a beautiful September wedding next year.  They plan on getting married outside in a country setting and we look forward to shooting their big day on what will be a very big birthday for April. Keeping things natural, we met up at the arboretum.  And even tough most of the fall colors were fading away, we were still able to squeeze a bit more seasonal magic out of the location for their fall engagement session.  Here are a few of our favorites from our time photographing them.  – Derrick
