We recently ventured to Denver, CO to visit our good friends Dustin and Sarah. Derrick and Dustin have been friends since middle school, and after dating Derrick, I was lucky enough to become good friends with both Dustin and Sarah. Unfortunately our friendship has always had to endure distance with those guys in Denver and us in Madison, but we are so lucky to have one of those friendships that always starts right back up where it left off. For our family, this was our first road trip as a family of four, and our last visit with D&S before they welcome their first t little one, baby Ellie, any day now. We couldn’t be happier for them!!! It seems crazy that our visits with one another have changed so much, it wasn’t long ago that the 4 of us were having crazy adventures and road tripping to Las Vegas and California. (you know you are great friends when you can deal with another that long in a car!:) Are visits now include visits to local Children Museums and the Zoo. 🙂

While we were visiting Denver we were able to get a few maternity shots for these guys as well, however, we were definitely reminded why we don’t take our boys to shoots with us, as it posed to be an obstacle to shoot with two crabby little boys, so unfortantly this session got cut a bit shorter then we would have liked.
