Love it! Canvas Clusters - High End Prints Middleton Wisconsin Photography Studio

When our lab notifies us that a canvas we’ve ordered has shipped they  jokingly state that we are not to tackle the Fed Ex driver before he can get the box off the truck.  This is meant as a joke, but honestly there are few things more exciting with the ‘office’ side of our job than getting a canvas in.  To see our work in what we consider the ultimate final form is so fulfilling.  The construction is superior, framing is straight, reinforced when needed to prevent any sort of warping, staples are neatly tucked behind the canvas so that it isn’t necessary to frame the images if you don’t wish too and most importantly the print quality is better than anything we’ve come across.  Every color matches what we see on our monitors before we send them off to be printed.  This is something that’s easier said than done, so when it really happens, and consistently at that, as a photographer you know you have the right partnership.

Even though we love seeing the art we’ve created for our clients, it’s even more fulfilling when we get to see our personal photos in this state.  This was the case Friday when the big box arrived at our door and the friendly knock let us know that our babies had arrived, or at least canvas’s with pictures of our babies on them.

Canvas’s can be an investment, especially if you’re like us and want to cover your walls in them.  One way to maximize this investment is through the integration of ‘Canvas Clusters.’  Clusters are pre configured sizes that can either be hung in their intended formation, or we have clients split them up and simply use the ‘Cluster’ as a way to get more bang for their buck when it comes to Canvas’s as they are discounted over a la carte options.

In this case we ordered a cluster and modified it a bit with the order of an additional canvas.  We typically order 1.5″ deep wraps, but they come up to 3″ deep and it can really add another level atheistically to have multiple depths arranged on a photo wall together.
