One of our favorite bands of all time is back together, on tour, and we’re headed to the show tonight! If you love teen-angst driven piano rock, Something Corporate is up your alley. If you can spare 9.99 they have a greatest hits album on iTunes with 20 tracks that even includes “Konstantine,” a 9 minute+ monster ballad that was actually our processional song at our wedding. Andrew McMahon has been touring with his band Jack’s Mannequin for the past 4 or 5 years, who we got to see a number of times in many different states, but it’ll be a blast from the past to hear the old tracks and see Something Corporate back together again live. We thought we’d post an old video (from 2001) of one of our favorite songs of theirs. And if you’re unfamiliar with Andrew McMahon’s story over the past few years, you can always check out Dear Jack, which is an indie short-documentary about his diagnosis and battle with Leukemia. All I can say is that they better play “Konstantine” tonight. -Derrick
