We hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving surrounded by those they love. I tried to teach Koeplin about gratitude and had a huge conversation with him as I put him to bed the night before Thanksgiving, telling him everything I am thankful for (he and his brother, his Dad, family, our home, our wonderful clients etc.) I followed this up with asking him what he is thankful for expecting him to tell me he was thankful for his brother, Dad, myself, etc. rather he answered, “me thankful for Batman!” and he left it at that. Ahhh! So glad I was able to teach him some gratitude for Batman! Of course I could only smile and kiss his little forehead goodnight.
