I tip toed across the room and smiled at Derrick as I grabbed my camera off the mantel, Derrick whispered to me, “Is she asleep?” I can’t count the number of times Derrick and I have lovingly waited for one of our own children to fall asleep; tip toeing through our home and whispering even when we don’t need to whisper anymore, only as extra precaution of course! But this time we were waiting for Miss Thea to fall asleep in her Mommy’s arms so that we could do her newborn session at our gallery and around downtown Middleton. Charice and Ryan had patiently awaited for the arrival of their new little girl, and we were so happy to document her at this precious stage for them, all brand new, with her tiny feet and her little hands, and I absolutely adored capturing all the smiles and love Charice and Ryan had for Thea.
Derrick and I initially really prided our selves on telling the story of our clients wedding day, but now I really love that we get to continue documenting their story as their family grows!
Charice and Ryan, Congrats on the beautiful addition. We hope these photos will always help you to remember just how little Thea was. She will grow fast!
