Amanda & Andy said their ‘I do’s” at St. Francis and Cross Plains, WI. From there we headed to Blackhawk Country Club in Madison for their reception. In-between we made stops downtown for some great photos of the two of them and their wedding party. It was a whirlwind day that we got to shoot photos of together. Sunsets at Blackhawk are always awesome and this day was not exception. Bucky Badger thrilled their guests with a special visit to their reception. Here’s some of our favorites from their many, many wedding proofs. Enjoy!
Beth & Ryan were married in a warmer place, but had a reception for friends and family back in Wisconsin at the always beautiful Olin Turville Park overlooking the Madison skyline. It was a laid back event and a good time for all. Here are a just a couple of sneak peaks of the two of them.
Britten & Joel maybe the craziest couple we’ve ever worked with. Not only did they plan their own wedding, but they remodeled and created their own Wedding Venue, properly titled ‘The Venue,’ in downtown Janesville, WI. Once a Masonic Temple, a church, and for many years just sitting vacant; Britten saw the potential of this diamond in the rough and took on the monstrous project of remodeling it before their wedding. She should of been on some sort of HGTV reality show, it was that kind of project. Like any undertaking of this scale things didn’t exactly run on schedule, but they were able to pull enough parts together the week of the wedding to host the event their. Even with paint and stain still drying and some other finishing touches yet to be completed, the Venue sparkled and was a hit for all the attended. Britten & Joel said their vows in one meaningful spot, we shot photos in downtown Janesville before moving on to the Janesville Country Club for their reception. Below are some of our favorites from their photography and we look sharing their Wedding Film in the future. Thanks again for letting be part of such a wonderful day.
Jay and Shannon are a great couple. They choose Grace Episcopal Church on the square in downtown Madison for their ceremony and the Overture Center for their reception. The talented Simon Balto not only took care of best man duties but performed the music for the first dance (check out his music if you’ve never heard him before). Working with these two has been so much fun and it was a pleasure documenting their day. Here are some of our favorites from the photography we created for them.
Andrea & Kai had a beautiful day! The weather was perfect for their roof top ceremony on the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, otherwise known as MMoCA. And the remnants of the Cars and State event made for some unique backdrops. After shooting on and around State Street and at the Capitol we headed over to the Memorial Union to cover the remainder of their night and reception. Andrea and the rest of the guests were surprised when Kai had the UW marching band drop by to play their famous 5th Quarter at the reception. We look forward to sharing their Wedding Film soon as well, but for now here are some of our favorites from their many proofs. Enjoy!
